Bacon County got scoring runs from five different players in Friday’s 34-7 win over Brantley County in a scrimmage game.
The Red Raiders used last year’s win over Long County in Bobby Johns’ first game as head coach to launch them to a 7-4 campaign.
“Overall, the effort as pretty good,” said Johns. “I am fairly pleased with how we played. Franklie speaking, though, we’ve still got a lot of work to do. We’ve only had a couple of weeks of practice.
